The department consisted of 12 police officers, 4 telecommunications officers, and one support staff personnel.
Today, the police department employs 50 members and 15 volunteers. It operates from a 22,000-square-foot building located at 617 West Business FM 1187, which includes a jail that can house up to 26 detainees.
