Cristina Winner has dedicated her career to public service and community enhancement since joining the City of Crowley in 2006 as a part-time employee at the Crowley Public Library. Her passion for public service inspired her to change her major, leading to her graduation in 2013 with a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from Texas Woman's University.
Cristina served as the Library Director from 2012 to 2016, where she made significant contributions before transitioning to the role of Community Services Director. In this position, she oversaw various quality of life departments, including the Library and Recreation Center. Her commitment to professional growth led her to earn a Master of Public Administration and a Graduate Certificate in Public Budgeting and Financial Management from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2021.
In 2023, Cristina advanced to the role of Assistant City Manager. In this role she collaborates closely with the City Manager, Council, and staff.
